With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we mourn the passing of Corazon S. Francisco, née Santos, who departed this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on August 5, 1939, in the Philippines, Corazon lived a life abundant in love, devotion, and the unwavering strength she brought to all who knew her.
Corazon’s journey began in the embrace of her parents, Gregorio Santos and Rita Santos (née Jaramillo), whose values of kindness and perseverance shaped the foundation of her life. As she grew, the bonds of family remained at the center of her world. She shared joyful childhood days and lifelong companionship with her siblings—her sisters Clarita Aleso, Alely Salazar, and Maria Barreyro; and her brothers Romeo Santos and Gerardo Santos. Though deeply saddened by the losses of her beloved parents, Corazon stayed deeply connected to her heritage and the love that first nurtured her spirit.
As Corazon embarked on her own path, she found a life partner in Oscar Francisco. Together, they built a legacy defined by dedication and mutual respect, weathering life's joys and challenges side by side until Oscar’s passing. Their union was a testament to enduring partnership, their love echoing through generations.
Corazon’s devotion knew no bounds when it came to her family. She was a caring mother to her son, Ronaldo Francisco, guiding him through life’s milestones with wisdom gently imparted and hands always ready to help. Welcoming Jovita Francisco as her daughter-in-law, Corazon extended the blessings of her heart, embracing her as one of her own. The pride she felt in her grandchildren, Robbie Francisco and Renzizon Francisco, was unmistakable: her warmth filled every family gathering, her stories and lessons cherished moments that shaped young lives.
Her joy multiplied even further as she became a great-grandmother to Ronzer Jenon Francisco and Raizen Jeigh Francisco. In her presence, generations gathered—her laughter became the melody of family reunions, her guidance the thread that wove together each shared memory.
Those who were blessed to know Corazon speak of her gentleness, her quiet resolve, and her unwavering care for others. Whether comforting a relative, imparting wisdom, or simply sharing a loving embrace, she left an indelible mark on all whose lives she touched. Her kindness shone brightest in her role as sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, creating a legacy built not just on years, but on love and togetherness.
Corazon is survived by her loving son, Ronaldo, and daughter-in-law, Jovita; her grandchildren, Robbie and Renzizon; her great-grandchildren, Ronzer Jenon and Raizen Jeigh; her sisters, Clarita, Alely, and Maria; and her brothers, Romeo and Gerardo. She is greeted in eternal rest by her beloved husband, Oscar, and her parents, Gregorio and Rita.
Family and friends are invited to honor Corazon’s memory at the Lilly & Zeiler Funeral Home, 1901 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21231. Visitation will be held on July 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 5:00 PM.
Though Corazon’s physical presence has left us, her spirit remains in every smile, every gentle touch, and every shared moment among those she so dearly loved. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and kindness—a guiding light for her family and all who had the privilege to know her.
