On January 9,2018, LCDR. Desiree Ellen Melnychenko,USN (nee Behler), devoted wife to George Melnychenko, beloved mother to Madelen, Fernando and Darling Monica Melnychenko, loving grandmother to Rosalina Melnychenko, dear sister to Rita Buschman (Milton), Rodney and Timothy Behler, also survived by loving relatives and friends.
Family and friends may gather at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Church, 15100 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20905 on Friday from 6-9 p.m. with Panahyda Services at 7 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2019 Gough Street,Baltimore,MD 21231 on Saturday at 9 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery, S. Boundbrook,NJ.
