On July 20,2017 Edmund "Ed" James Lund, who grew up on Bear Creek, where he originated his love for nature and the outdoors. When Ed was 5, he began fishing and crabbing. He passed down this lifetime passion to his first grandson, Aden, as they would venture out weekly. Ed moved to Joppatowne in 1978 where he attended Joppatowne High School. He was active in the wrestling program and made many life long friends there. He was a hard worker and was always willing to give a helping hand. Ed had an artistic gift, something that he shared with his children. He was well liked by his neighbors and friends. Ed is survived by his children, Candice Stitz, Heather Lund, Edmund J. Lund,Jr and Breanna Speilman, his grandson, Aden McFillin, his mother, Shirley Lund, and his sister and brother, Kelly Smutek and James R. Lund. Ed's brother, Michael J. Lund , predeceased him. Conkling Street (at Foster Avenue),Baltimore, MD 21224 on Wednesday, July 26,2017, from 4-8 p.m. with Prayer Services at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
