On September 26,2026, GEORGE "YURIY" KOTYK, peacefully passed away at the age of 91. Yuriy was the devoted husband to the late Mary T. (nee Hanas) Kotyk, beloved father to Mark Kotyk and his wife, Myroslava, and Bohdan Kotyk, loving grandfather to Nadia, Sofia and Lukiyan Kotyk, dear brother to Christine Lysobey, brother-in-law to Christine (nee Hanas) Minczak and her husband Dr. Bohdan Minczak, MD, dear uncle to Andrew "Andy" Lysobey and the late Alex (Lesho) Lysobey. Yuriy is also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends may gather at LILLY & ZEILER INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Eastern Ave./21231 on Saturday, October 3,2026 from 8:30 a.m to 9 a.m. with Panachida Services are to begin at 9 a.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Yuriy's name to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
