On May 18,2022, James R. Bowen, devoted husband to the late Rosalie (nee Machlinski) Bowen, beloved father to Rosie Bowen and her husband, Alexander Fajardo, William Shipley and the late Jack Shipley, loving grandfather to Brianna Shipley, Samantha Shipley, Adriana Bowen-Herrera and Alissa Fajardo, dear brother to Sarah Arnold, Christine Logue and the late Margolis Dowen. Also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends. James owned and operated his family's bakery in the  Northeast Market for numerous years along with his daughter, Rosie.

Family and friends may gather at LILLY & ZEILER INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Eastern Ave./21231 on Sunday, May 22,2022, from 4-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 23,2002 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery at 12 p.m.
