On October 27,2018, James C. Scheller, Sr., passed away in Boca Raton,FL at the age of 91. He was loved and will be missed by his wife of 67 years, Mary (nee Naglieri), his sons, Jim and Jerry, and four grandchildren, Jenny, Zoe, Carl and Lindsey, and the rest of his family. James served in the Navy in WWII in Japan and worked at the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Baltimore,MD for over 30 years in their planning department and was the chief planner there during the construction of an oil rig which was a major achievement for him. James grew up in Highlandtown and was the son of the late Karl and Barbara Scheller. Family and friends may gather at LILLY & ZEILER, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 700 S. Conkling Street/21224 on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where James was an altar boy, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
