On August 28,2021, Dr. L. Mario Amzel,PhD., a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine for over 50 years, loving companion to Janna Wehrle, dear brother to Clara Amzel de Ginzburg, beloved father to Anouk Amzel and her husband,Philip Keyser, Daniela Amzel and her husband, Adrian Batchelor, grandfather to Lily Batchelor, also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Symposium will be held in the Mountcastle Auritorium (725 N. Wolfe Street) located on the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Campus on Tuesday, April 5,2022 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
