On December 6,2014, Rev. Lawrence "Larry" E. Lover,C.Ss.R., beloved son of the late John and Lucille (nee Cassidy) Lover. dear brother of Dolores Gorman and the late Rev. James Lover,C.Ss.R. Fr. Lover was born in Brooklyn,NY in 1924 and ordained a Redemptorist in 1951. Fr. Lover received his doctorate in Canon Law while studying in Rome. in 1955. He served as the Vicar of the Baltimore Province and as an associate pastor in Annapolis,Ellicott City and Baltimore. A visitation will be held in the main chapel at Stella Maris on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Further visitaion will be held on Thursday, December 11,2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn,NY. where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. St. Alphonsus Cemetery in Esopus,NY
