On May 7,2025, MARGARET L. STOCK, born and raised in Highlandtown by her devoted parents, the late Philip and Ida (nee Ruth) Stock. In her younger days, Margie could be found dancing at nightclubs and enjoying good times with friends, all while never getting her driver's license.  She had a long career working at and eventually retiring from General Motors. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas, playing the slots and dining out often. Margie was a master baker, known for her famous pound cake of which she supposedly copied/stole from one of her sisters (still being debated as this is written). She was a long time neighborhood watchdog on Fagley Street where nothing happened without her approval. New neighbors were required to check in with her to know the do's and dont's that were allowed.

Margie is survived by her beloved sisters: Phyllis Yakim (Joseph), Christine Brannan and Theresa  Willinger. She is the loving aunt to Michael P. Yakim (Sara), Joseph S. Yakim (Susan), Philip J. Yakim (Elizabeth), Dawn Brannan Speakman, Russell W. Brannon and the late Craig J. Willinger, great aunt to Michael J.Yakim, Samuel J. Yakim, Emma C. Yakim and Joseph G. Yakim, Nathan and Gavin Barton, Andrew P. Yakim, Marley E. Yakim, Kelly A. Speakman, Katelyn M. Speakman, Jordan K. Willinger and Alexandra C. Willinger, great great aunt to Natalie D. Bromwell. Also survived by her many loyal friends, especially Jerry Finley, Angie and Mary Ellen.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Friday, May 23,2025 at 10 a.m., followed by inurnment in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
