Suddenly, On July 10,2019, Mary E. Thorne (nee Whittle), devoted mother to Sherie Whalen, Elizabeth Chalk, Michael Timmerman, Robert Timmerman and the late Samuel Powell, dear sister to Frank Whittle, aunt to Kenneth and Gary Whittle. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends may gather at LILLY & ZEILER INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Eastern Avenue/21231 on Sunday, July 14,2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Catholic Prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 15,2019 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
