Michael Rusinko, 86, of Timonium, fell asleep in the Lord, (passed away) on 5 August 2026 at home. He was born on 31 May 1940 to the late John and Mary Rusinko.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister Anna Kovalycsik and brother John Rusinko.

Michael is survived by his nephew, Terry (Joyce) Kovalycsik; and great nephews: Taylor and Connor Kovalycsik.

Michael was a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology as an electrical engineer. He served in the United States Army where he received training in satellite technology and served in Japan. After his discharge, he later moved to Maryland where he was a former employee of the National Security Agency from which he retired in 2002.

Michael was a parishioner of Saint Andrew Orthodox Church, Baltimore where he sang in the Church Choir and was active in the parish community events and in helping and providing support to the church committees and cemetery until his illness.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 10:00 AM at Saint Andrew Orthodox Church, 2028 East Lombard Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21231, with a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Saint Andrew Orthodox Cemetery, German Hill Road, Dundalk, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations in memory of Michael be made to Saint Andrew Orthodox Church at the address listed above.
