Obituary

Saul Antonio Benitez Guevara, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 16, 1989, to his loving parents, Patricia Xiomara Guevara and Jose Saul Benitez Benitez, who cherished him deeply from the very beginning. Saul passed away on April 15, 2026.

Saul was full of life and brought light into every room he entered. He loved to dance and had a natural ability to make everyone around him laugh. His energy was contagious, and his sense of humor and warmth created lasting memories for all who knew him. Being around Saul meant feeling welcomed, uplifted, and truly seen.

He was also known for being fiercely protective of his loved ones. Saul always made sure the people he cared about were safe, supported, and never alone. His loyalty ran deep, and his presence gave comfort and strength to those around him.

As the eldest of seven siblings, Saul carried a strong sense of responsibility and always looked out for his family. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Emanuel and Ruth from his mother’s side, and Harry, Joseph, Bernardo, and Onieda from his father’s side. He also shared a unique and unbreakable bond with his only full sister, Lesly, whom he loved deeply.

Saul was determined and hardworking. After coming to the United States, he learned English within a year, showing incredible dedication and perseverance. He earned a certificate as an ESOL teacher and spent several years working with the school district, where he made a lasting impact supporting and uplifting the Hispanic community. Helping others was not just something he did—it was who he was.

To those who knew him, Saul was more than his accomplishments—he was a source of happiness, strength, and love. He built deep connections and friendships that will never be forgotten.

Though his life was cut short, Saul filled his years with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. His smile, his energy, and the way he cared for others will live on in every heart he touched. He will forever be missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
