On June 26,2013, Veronica Winkel Kimmitt died at home surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with ALS, she is the beloved mother of Thomas J. Kimmitt,IV and his wife Alison, Melissa K. Linthicum and her husband Robert and Melinda K. O'Malley and her husband Peter, loving grandmother of Marley, Tommy, Timmy, Katy, Lauren, Bridget, Robby, Clare, Norah and Cormac, dear sister of Kathleen League, former wife of Thomas J. Kimmitt,III, beloved companion of Charles F. Costello. Family and friends may gather at LILLY & ZEILER INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Eastern Avenue,Baltimore,MD 21231 on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. ONLY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church (Broadway and Bank Streets). Interment to follow in the Linthicum Family Cemetery.
