Caroline L. (Lowe) Young

Caroline Lowe Young, 84, of Edgemere, MD passed away on June 9, 2024, at her daughter's home in Baltimore, MD. She was born on November 20, 1939 in Huntsville, AL. She is the beloved mother to Barbara Fawcett and Sue Huber.

Caroline was known for her cheerful, adventurous, and friendly nature. As a college student she earned a master's degree from University of Florida. Afterwards, she enjoyed a long career in teaching and human resources.

"Miss Caroline '' as she was often named, touched many lives in the Chesapeake region of Maryland. In Ocala, FL she was active in church and served as lay leader at St. Marks UMC. She also discovered her love for "clowning" and was always happy to dress up as "Twinkles" with her clown troop wherever there would be a group of kids.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 am at Lodge Forest UMC, 2715 Lodge Forest Dr, Sparrow Point, MD 21219.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Natural History Society of Maryland.
